When you log in to the New Base Camp, you will be greeted with series of tiles.
Legacy Paths (Maroon Coloured Background)
Paths not included in the New Base Camp – Effective Coaching, Leadership Development, Innovative Planning, Strategic Relationships and Team Collaboration.
Current Paths (Blue Coloured Background)
Paths included in the New Base Camp – Dynamic Leadership, Engaging Humour, Motivational Strategies, Persuasive Influence, Presentation Mastery and Visionary Communication.
For some members, there will also be tiles for other learning program opportunities which you may have started e.g. Pathways Mentor Program.
Clicking a tile will open up your curriculum for that Path.
Clicking the Overview tab will display the levels of your Path.
Clicking a level will open up the projects for that level with a check mark beside any project which you have completed and have been approved by a Base Camp Manager, which is now any Club executive member.
Clicking on a Project title will open the project.
Use the navigation arrows on either side of the project to navigate from screen to screen. If you do not see the arrows, expand your project by clicking “Full screen” below. To exit the full screen mode, click “Exit full screen”.
NOTE: There are subtle differences in the format of the Legacy and non-Legacy Paths but they are actually quite similar. Most of the complaints around Pathways were not about the content but were focused on the complicated navigation – Mission accomplished!
On the Toastmasters International website, there is a new section for Base Camp Videos. Check it out for the latest information about Pathways:
