As the Public Relations Manager, I am responsible for coordinating publicity efforts in the District. By establishing and maintaining lines of communication between the District and its members, as well as between the District and the public, I work to increase awareness of Toastmasters through all available media.
Public Relations Goals
The professional maintenance of a favourable public image by a company or other organization or a famous person.
- Generate positive awareness of the Toastmasters brands in order to attract and retain members.
- Keep the Public (the external audience) and members (the internal audience) aware of club or district activities.
- Use effective communication channels and media relations.
- Build membership and gain public recognition.
