Club Growth Director

As the Club Growth Director, I am responsible for all aspects of marketing, club-building, and member- and club-retention efforts within the District. This includes defining an overall marketing strategy for the District, developing outreach and retention efforts with existing community and corporate clubs, and penetrating new markets. Additionally, I support challenged clubs and help them to become Distinguished.
Extension

Extension Chair

The Club Extension Chair oversees the objectives for the Club Extension and Club Sponsor Committees. These two committees are essential in assisting the Club Growth Director through maintaining quality leads and providing guidance over the club sponsor program to ensure that prospective clubs are chartered successfully. In addition to providing sponsors for prospective clubs, the club sponsor committee arranges club sponsor credit opportunities for members who seek it.

Demo / Kickoff Meeting Team Chair

As the Demo/Kickoff Chair, I will coordinate demonstration/kickoff meetings for prospective clubs. I will develop a team of people ready to help, ready to grow the district.

New Club Sponsor / Mentor Coordinator

As the New Club Sponsor / Mentor Coordinator, I am the liaison for all New Club Sponsors, New Club Mentors. I arrange training and find members willing to take on these vital roles within the district.
Kick Off Team
A team of Toastmasters who put together a meeting, fulfilling every role, to demonstrate Toastmasters to potential future members. The team can assist the club coordinator prepare Toastmasters International charter membership paperwork.

Corporate / Community Club Advisor

The Corporate / Community Club Advisor provides guidance on opening new clubs and addresses any challenges with existing clubs.
The Club Growth Director is responsible for all aspects of marketing, club-building, and club-retention efforts within the District. This includes defining an overall marketing strategy for the District, developing outreach and club retention efforts with existing community and corporate clubs, and penetrating new markets. Additionally, the Club Growth Director supports challenged clubs and helps them to become Distinguished.
The Club Growth Director must have served at least six consecutive months as Club President and at least 12 consecutive months as a Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, Division Director, Area Director, or a
combination of the preceding in the District in which they serve. The Club Growth Director may serve in their role for a full year and cannot be re-elected to the same office for a succeeding term.

Membership and Club Growth
The Club Growth Director:
- Recruits, trains, and supervises a strong club-building team.
- Appoints club sponsors and mentors for new clubs (within 60 days of the organization of a new club).
- Appoints club coaches for existing clubs that are struggling.
- Trains, motivates, and supervises the club sponsors, mentors, and coaches, and
- Manages the Club Coach program to help struggling clubs achieve recognition in the Distinguished Club Program.
The club growth team assists struggling clubs through the Club Coach programme. To apply to become a club coach, complete the forms. Both the member and the club have obligations within the club coaching programme. In order for Club Coaches to receive credit for completing their role, the Club President must advise Toastmasters International that they have completed their roles.

New clubs have a strong support net through the Club Sponsors and Club Mentors programme. A Club Sponsor will help develop a club, will help complete the charter paperwork, and will be the bridge for non-Toastmasters to become Toastmasters in a new club. Club Mentors stay with a new club for 6 months to provide guidance. In order for Club Sponsors and Club Mentors to receive credit for completing their role, the Club President must advise Toastmasters International that they have successfully completed their roles.
