Public Relations Manager

As the Public Relations Manager, I am responsible for coordinating publicity efforts in the District. By establishing and maintaining lines of communication between the District and its members, as well as between the District and the public, I work to increase awareness of Toastmasters through all available media.

Supports the PR Manager with coordination and keeping projects on track. Owns the district newsletter. Pulls together club highlights, achievements, and upcoming events so every club stays visible at the district level.

Leads efforts to organize and grow district meetups, helping clubs open doors to prospects. Strengthens community engagement alongside the district's digital PR efforts.

A Social Media expert and Marketing Specialist by trade, Kemisha has assisted our team greatly with her skills in Canva designs, video editing, and social media pushes.

Focuses on external-facing articles for prospective members and the public. Positions the district and its clubs as approachable. Supports membership growth.

Social Media Chair
Manages day-to-day social media execution. Keeps posting rhythm consistent. Amplifies club-level wins so smaller clubs get visibility.

Richa Jethwa
AI Integration Chair
Explores and implements AI tools to strengthen PR workflows. Covers content generation, scheduling, and analytics. Helps the team operate more efficiently without compromising quality. Supports VPPRs in automating processes at the club level.

Automation & AI Integration Chair
Co-leads AI tooling efforts within the PR team. Likely splits focus areas between content and operations. Keeps the district current on AI-driven PR practices.

We are always seeking part time, tech savvy people with excellent customer awareness skills, to assist the District's Publicity and Public Relations Role. All training is provided, and you specify in advance, what level of time commitment you are comfortable with. It's a fantastic "Learning by Doing Opportunity". Potential roles include, BUT are not limited to, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/ X, Youtube, web design & editing, Content Writing, Blogging, and many more.
Public Relations Goals

- Generate positive awareness of the Toastmasters brands in order to attract and retain members.
