Call for District Leadership

Interested in growing your leadership skills?

Join the District 123 Leadership Team as an Area Director or another District Leader Role. You will gain valuable skills while helping clubs in District 123.

Apply below to express your interest in the Area Director team. There are limited opportunities, so submit your application as soon as possible! Roles are effective July 1.

Why take these roles? District-level credit towards the Distinguished Toastmaster Award, use as a High-Performance Leadership project, give back to the District, and help your friends (and future friends).

Area Director Qualifications

Ideally served as a member of a District Council, e.g., Club President, Club Vice-President Education, District Executive Committee member in a district in which they shall serve.

All District officers must be active individual members of Member Clubs in good standing within the District where they are elected or appointed to serve and must be in good standing with Toastmasters International under Article III, Section 8, of the Bylaws of Toastmasters International.

Dates and Deadlines

Submit applications by June 24 for non-elected positions

Individuals interested in being considered for Area Director may submit applications until June 24th.
All forms are listed in the application package.

Commitment

If appointed, and it is a District Executive role including Area Director, I agree to attend District Leadership Training (4-hour Minimum) which will be provided by District 123 in June and July, and all the bi-monthly District Executive Council meetings.

  4. District Leader Agreement and Release Statement
  5. Professional Headshot
