Club Coach Coordinator

Club Coach Coordinator

Antoinette Scott

As Club Coach / Club Advisor Coordinator, I recruit and train coaches for all clubs that qualify for the program. I also review the clubs to see which ones are in need of a club coach. Club coaches support struggling clubs in rebuilding their membership and restoring club quality. I help club coaches develop action plans to aid their assigned clubs. In addition to providing coaches for qualified clubs, I will arrange club coach credit opportunities for members who seek it. Tip: Club coaches can be assigned in pairs. There may be an advantage to pairing a more experienced Distinguished Toastmaster (if one is amenable) with a Toastmaster working towards credit for their Educational Award Requirements.

New clubs have a strong support net through the Club Sponsors and Club Mentors programme. A Club Sponsor will help develop a club, will help complete the charter paperwork, and will be the bridge for non-Toastmasters to become Toastmasters in a new club. Club Mentors stay with a new club for 6 months to provide guidance. In order for Club Sponsors and Club Mentors to receive credit for completing their role, the Club President must advise Toastmasters International that they have successfully completed their roles.
