Toastmasters’ education programs are designed to help you fine-tune your public speaking, communication, and leadership skills through regular practice. We all work at different rates, have different goals. We celebrate our fellow members who have achieved their goals.

What is the Toastmasters Education Program?
The core education program covers over 300 unique competencies through 11 specialized learning paths.
What is the Triple Crown Award?
A Toastmaster member receives the Triple Crown when they have achieved at least 3 education levels. Each Path has 5 levels.
What is a Distinguished Toastmaster Award?
The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters.
To earn the DTM, you are required to:
- Complete two learning paths.
- Serve as a club officer for two six–month terms or one annual term, participate in the preparation of a Club Success Plan, and participate in a District-sponsored Club Officer Training.
- Serve a complete one-year term as a District leader.
- Serve successfully as a club mentor or coach.
- Serve successfully as a club sponsor or conduct a Speechcraft or Youth Leadership program.
- Complete the DTM project. (Members are required to create and implement a project of their own design, in which they demonstrate the skills and expertise they have gained.)
What is a Distinguished Club?
A club that has submitted club members’ dues + meets the membership requirement of 20 members or a net gain of 3 members from July 1 + has achieved 5 or 6 club goals.
What is a Select Distinguished Club?
A club that has submitted club members’ dues + meets the membership requirement of 20 members or a net gain of 3 members from July 1 + has achieved 7 or 8 club goals.
What is a President's Distinguished Club?
A club that has submitted club members’ dues + meets the membership requirement of 20 members or a net gain of 3 members from July 1 + has achieved 9 or 10 club goals.
