District leader elections are held during the Annual Meeting of the District Council at District conference. Have you thought about taking the next step in your Toastmasters leadership journey? If so, now is the time to consider serving as a District Leader for the 2026-2027 Toastmaster year.

The District Leadership Committee is looking for applications for the following elected positions:

  • District Director
  • Program Quality Director
  • Club Growth Director
  • Division Directors (A,B,C,E,M,N)

The District Leadership Committee is also looking for applications for the following appointed positions:

  • Public Relations Manager
  • Finance Manager
  • Administration Manager
  • Area Directors and Other Appointed Positions

Dates and Deadlines

February 6 Elected Positions

The deadline for candidates to apply for elected positions is February 6.

March 31 Appointed Positions

Individuals interested in being considered for Public Relations Manager, Administration Manager, Finance Manager, Area Director, or other appointed positions may submit applications until March 31st.
All forms are listed in the application package.

Four (4) weeks before the election date

DLC report and biographical forms are emailed to all members of the District Council and posted on the District website.

At least 7 days before the Annual Business Meeting

Eligible floor candidates shall declare their intent to run in writing to the District Director, [email protected], DLC Chair, [email protected], after the DLC report has been published and at least seven (7) days prior to the Annual Business Meeting of the District Council.
