District Council Meeting

District 123 holds 2 district council meetings:

September:

  • Budget
  • Leadership appointments
  • Speech contest decisions

Spring (between April 1 and May 31):

  • Candidates’ Showcase for the District trio nominees before the meeting
  • Annual Business Meeting
  • Votes on:
    • – Alignment report
    • – District Leaders for the incoming year

To include all clubs, as District 123 clubs are geographically dispersed over a wide range, the District Council meetings are held in an online or hybrid format.

Reports from:

  • Finance, Audit, Public Relations, Club Growth, Program Quality, District Director

The District Council shall consist of Club Presidents, and Vice Presidents Education of Clubs in Good Standing, plus District Executive Committee members, including District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, Public Relations Manager, Administration Manager, Finance Manager, Immediate Past District Director, Division Directors, and Area Directors.

The number of clubs registered for Credentials will determine the quorum.

The registration link is emailed to District Council members and authorized attendees at least 4 weeks in advance of the Annual Business meeting. The event will be posted on the District website 4 weeks in advance. Agenda and previous meeting minutes will be provided at least two weeks before meeting.

Final Minutes will be emailed to District Council members up to one week after the meeting.
